Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Spectacular cuisine and outstanding service. Arnaud and his team took care of us and guided us through the vast menu of delicious foods and wine. Highly recommended!"
"Memorable - every bite was delicious, incredible actually. I am Italian but currently live in the US. When I travel to Europe I try to pick my meals best I can, and this was quite the discovery. Strong flavors, new combinations, prime ingredients and lots of passion and knowledge coming through from talking to the staff and owner/chef. I go to Paris once a year and rarely spend time in the 14th but will from now on to visit this place. Cannot recommend enough."
"We had the opportunity to enjoy an extraordinary dinner experience at this restaurant. From start to finish, we had an attentive waiter that was friendly and respectful, he was also competent and efficient. He was knowledgeable about the extensive wine list they offer and easily recommended us a wine that was to our liking that would also pair well with the food we ordered. The restaurant is in a small and quiet place, so the atmosphere was calm and enjoyable. There was no excessive noise. The food itself was also delightful. Our food was prepared with high quality ingredients and all the dishes we ordered were properly and skillfully flavoured. We enjoyed all the courses fully, the only complaint I would have would probably be the fish not having enough depths in flavours itself. The toppings however made up for most of it. Finally, even though the portions are relatively small for the prices they charge, we were still quite stuffed after having the 3 courses. They also served a pre-appetizer before we ordered which helps portion-wise. To be honest though, they only charge 41 euro for a 3 course meal which is a very reasonable price and an inexpensive place to enjoy a more exquisite experience. One of the biggest downsides is the lack of air conditioning so it felt a bit warm eating in the restaurant."
"Beautiful dinner experience for a good price. Came because of the michelin guide and left delighted, the service and staff were lovely and we felt very comfortable. Starters were out of this world, the veal kidney was incredible and the mashed potatoes were perfect. The strawberry tarte was so fresh and just the perfect amount of taste. All in all a first class experience for a good price"
"Great place - fantastic foof - excellent service! Take the 5 course menu - you won´t regret it! It was a blast! The wine list is very interesting and offers a good value. Service is professional, quick and very helpful. We had a perfect dinner! Thank you, see you next year."
"Had the duck l'orange with endives which was welcomingly rich and hearty on a crisp night - the duck breast was meant to be medium rare but came closer to medium but it was still very flavoursome. Wines by the glass were great."
"All dishes were fantastic. I highly recommend turbot. All staff were kind. Especially, the Korean chef was so helpful for us. Thank you!"
"We came here as we tried and liked the same owner restaurant Les petits princes. The lunch menu option of 29eur for 3 courses was limited to very few options so we took the 41eur option. Things we liked: offered nice terrines with good bread for welcoming, all starters (scallops, mushroom, perfect eggs, leeks) were delicious. The wine was really nice. The pear and fig desserts were good Things we didn’t: garnishes for the beef main dish were a bit poor. Rice pudding was undercooked to our taste. Chocolate mouse could be presented more nicely…"
